Think Charleston in the spring…..effortlessly sophisticated, full of color, and alive with energy. With a large bridal party and even larger families, the tone was set for a joyful, unforgettable celebration from the very start.

Set against blue skies at Lowndes Grove, the day unfolded beneath a clear-top tent overlooking the Ashley River. A signature shade of green anchored the design, while vibrant florals in pinks and oranges brought a fresh, lively contrast. Green stripes, chinoiserie vases, and three distinct tablescapes layered in pattern and print created visual interest from every angle, inviting guests to take it all in as the evening evolved.

Both Ole Miss graduates, the bride and groom made their way from the historic house to the ceremony beneath a flag honoring their alma mater—a personal and meaningful touch. Bridesmaids each selected their own green dresses, adding depth and individuality to the palette.

Vows were exchanged beneath a magnolia tree, followed by cocktails by the water, where signature drinks playfully paid tribute to their beloved pups.

As the sun set, the newlyweds stole a quiet moment on the dock before returning to a dance floor that didn’t slow down—complete with a little crowd surfing to close out the reception. And for this group, the celebration didn’t end there. The after-party carried on well into the night, exactly as it should, a perfect Charleston wedding. Congratulations MacRae & Austin!
