Carolina and James tied the knot on July 10th at the Newseum. Luck was with the couple as the dark skies opened up and the heat wave came to a pause for this beautiful occasion. We could not have had a more perfect backdrop for the ceremony. The couple was married on the balcony of the Newseum with the picturesque Capitol Building behind them. After the ceremony, guests headed down to cocktail hour where they picked up their escort cards surrounding an ice sculpture of the Capitol Building! As guests entered the reception room, they were able to grab some candy from the all night candy bar with a 5ft replica of the Washington monument!
