The weather could not have been more perfect for Christine and Scott’s November wedding. After a beautiful ceremony held at the Church of the Nativity; the couple joined their guests at the Ritz-Carlton at Tyson’s Corner to celebrate the marriage. Keeping it simple and elegant, Christine and Scott chose a simple black and black color palette. After a great dinner, the party got started and everyone hit the dance floor. Blythe and Joe decided to celebrate the New Year by exchange vows on January 5th at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown followed by dinner and dancing at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. With her pearls and sparkly Kate Spade shoes, Blythe was the epitome of bridal radiance on her day. Blythe selected simple and classic navy bridesmaid dresses for the girls while the groomsmen classic in traditional suits . The ceremony was simple and traditional, with the guests moving on to a ballroom at the Omni for a night of festivities to celebrate the happy couple.  Instead of table numbers, the couple decided to name their tables after cities they have visited together which added a personal touch to their reception. The bride and groom spent the evening dancing, mingling and having fun in the photo booth with their loved ones. The night ended with Blythe and Joe’s family and friends sending them off to their new life together with sparklers and cheers. With loved working with this fabulous couple and wish them happiness together! And a special thanks to Katelyn James for the amazing photos from the day.

Kate and Kevin were blessed with a beautiful fall day for their wedding at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. Kate and her bridesmaids looked fabulous and their bouquets complimented the purple,blue and white color palette extraordinarily. The weather was amazing for their outdoor ceremony under the outdoor gazebo covered in flowers. After the ceremony, the guests moved inside to get the party started. Guests were treated to an amazing three course meal followed by dancing the night away to an eight piece band. Thank you to Eli Turner Studios for all these amazing photos. A beautiful bride, a handsome southern gentleman and a gorgeous December afternoon made the perfect cocktail for a fabulous DC wedding. Courtney & Jason were married at the Carnegie Institute in what was truly a classy, southern affair. The bride began her wedding day being pampered in the gorgeous Martha Washington suite at the Jefferson Hotel and had a private “first look” with her husband-to-be in the library. The other love of their lives, Lucy their dog, met up with them to be photographed all dressed up at Meridian Hill Park.

For the ceremony, the bride made a stunning entrance up the candlelit steps of the Carnegie and met her groom to say “I Do” in the middle of the rotunda. As soon as their first kiss was exchanged, the party was ready to start. In southern style, guests dined while they danced with ongoing stations and passed hors d’oeurves. Everyone especially loved the specialty cigar and Bourbon bar. The evening caped off with the bride & groom being cheered and sent off down the cascading steps straight into their limo! Courtney, Jason and their families were such a joy to get to know. We wish them all the best in their many years ahead! Our prayers were answered as the weather held out for the beautiful wedding of Kate and Robert at Christ Church in Georgetown and DAR.   Kate looked amazing in her gown and her bridesmaids shined in their black J Crew dresses.  Four shuttle buses moved the almost 200 guests to the church, where Robert’s parents were also married years earlier.  The guests then explored the beautiful portico and O’Byrne gallery of the DAR for the reception, enjoying food stations instead of a sit down dinner which kept everyone social and dancing.  The bride apparently grew up thinking of candy as a food group, so a candy bar helped supply late night energy and a colorful and delicious favor.  To bring in another personal touch, the bride and group celebrated with beer steins that they won in a tournament.  A big thanks to Gary from Rodney Bailey Photography for these great photos.  Wishing Kate and Robert a fabulous next chapter of their lives!

Stephanie and Dan said their I do’s on September 1^st at the Atrium at Meadowlark. The venue and its surrounding botanical gardens, expansive lawns and towering trees definitely helped to guide the decor and style for this wedding. Stephanie wanted her wedding to be simple and fun. She chose spiced colored dresses for the girls and all white centerpieces with pops of orange to highlight the change of season. Throughout the entire planning process Stephanie’s main focus was always the celebration with her guests. Stephanie wanted to make sure that all of her favorite people in the world enjoyed the day as much as she did.

Stephanie and Dan are one of the sweetest couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Always smiling and happy, it was such a joy to have met them. Congratulations to the happy couple! And a huge thank you to Jennifer McMenamin for the beautiful images.
