Kellie & Sean were one of my favorite couples of 2011. Not only were they super nice, they wanted a bold look for their reception which I L-O-V-E! Kellie also wanted to use the holiday décor that would already be set up in many hotel as a backdrop, being that it already sets a festive tone. We found the perfect venue – The Fairmont. There was traditional green and red holiday décor in the lobby but also an AMAZING display of white Christmas lights in the courtyard, which you can see through the Colonnade Ballroom. Add in our purple linens, silver accents, orchids, hydrangea, Picasso calla lilies, up lighting and pin spots, well let’s just say I couldn’t be happier how the room and tables looked! Great news is that the clients also loved it! For dinner, guests dined on tomato soup with small squares of grilled cheese and filet and crab cake for the entrée. Guests danced away the night and left with cake pops to go. It was clear that Kellie and Sean had the best night of their lives and for that, I can say I love my job!
