Amanda & Hunter: A Cool Wedding in February

Saturday, February 18, 2012… a day over 10 years in the making, Amanda and Hunter wed at Trinity United Methodist Church in Alexandria, followed by a night of great food, laughter, dancing and fun at The Hotel Monaco, Old Town. Hunter toasted his beautiful bride, Amanda that evening stating “one thing [he] is sure of is that [they] will live a happy life together.” With their rehearsal dinner the night before at their favorite and frequently visited Old Town restaurant, Landini Brothers, the weekend certainly got off to a fabulous start. On her wedding day, Amanda and her mother were driven to the church in true style in a 1964 Rolls Royce. After their sweet and brief (just as they asked for) ceremony, the bride & groom were joined for photographs with their love-able dog, Holly. Amanda & Hunter are a extraordinary couple and it was such a pleasure to spend time planning their wedding with them! Best of luck as they re-model their new home. A special thank you to Abby Jiu for taking such wonderful photographs.

  1. Look for a photographer who has experience with weddings. It is best to use a professional wedding photographer who has shot many weddings. This gives them the experience they need to know when certain events are going to happen and the know how to successfully capture that event. As some families may be huge they have the experience of setting families up in poses.
