I am working with a couple whose colors are Merlot (not too red, not too purple) and Ivory. A great classic combination that will be complimented by amber lighting showing off the detail on the walls at an older DC Club, the Cosmos Club. As we met with the floral designer, we were showed some really nice linens that would have looked great but they were $45 each — over $500 for 12 table cloths just seems a bit too much. So I was on a search. 

There are several places like Dove Linens where you can order the linens you want for a great price and send them back but I need to see, touch, feel the fabric. I found Select Event Rentals and they were not only super helpful, they were accommodating with my clients schedules and we found the perfect linens for $26 each. We were debating between two but then decided we needed to see then under candle light since the tables will have at least 8 votives each. Not a problem! Candles were brought out and it was obvious which was the winner. We had enough to add in 120 ivory satin napkins and we are still well under the first quote. The bride chose Princess Merlot, below.
