Old Town Chic

Carrie and Jay tied the knot at the Hotel Monaco in Old Town Alexandria on November 22nd, 2008. Despite all of their “sun dances” in an effort to bring warm weather to the area so that the ceremony could take place out in the courtyard, the weather (as always) had a mind of it’s own. It turned out to be one of the coldest days of the year and the ceremony took place in the Athens room of the Monaco instead. Although it wasn’t their first choice for the location, the intimate ceremony was beautiful and included a lot of fun touches such as a painted aisle runner and Dalton the ring dog (a first for us!). The reception was a lot of fun for everyone. Carrie added her own special touches to everything. She made all the programs, table names, escort cards, and other items to match her orange, green, and chocolate brown color scheme. All the guests had a great time mingling and dancing the night away. Congrats Carrie and Jay!
