Our favorite time of year is upon us- cherry blossom time which happily ushers in the unofficial start to the wedding season.  And what would be more typical "DC" than taking pictures at the Tidal Basin with the Cherry Blossom trees. 

We've talked tomany local photographers about this common request and the truth is that once the blooms appear, it is so tough to get a shot without tourists and other passersby that often couples will meet the photographer before 7am at the Tidal Basin just to get a less crowded shot.  Well, for all you cherry blossom fans looking to sleep in, here is a hidden gem: the Bethesda's Kenwood neighborhood also has cherry blossoms and is a beautiful place to take pictures that doesn't require a weekend alarm clock.  Happy pictures to all!
