Simply Stunning!

Becky and Art were married in the Armanain church in Bethesda that Arts family has been members of for years. This is a very tight knit community and I was honored to work with this group of people. Although, because I knew not enough about their religion and culture, we didn't have a blessing in the schedule. Art's father ran across the dance floor to tell me what we needed and I ran to the priests where they all looked at me in confusion (because the salads were down) and said, "WE NEED TO DO A BLESSING!" I quickly invited one up to the mic and all was good — whew!

Becky and Art hosted about 230 guests at the Bethesda North Marriott for cocktails, dinner and dancing. They grooms parents invited an Armanian band to perform and they were worth it — the lead singer kept the guests dancing and scowled at me when I imposed the schedule. "Alex, you cannot interrupt my set!" LOL — he got over it and the night ran smoothly. I coordinated with the DJ for band breaks and special songs he needed to play.

I was very impressed with Becky's vision. The room was nothing less than stunning — from the gobo's (lights with their names shining through) to the pin spotting on the high floral arrangements to favors and gold detailing, it was stunning.
