Kristi and Drew Wed a la Nature

Kristi and Drew decided to get married at the Woodend Sanctuary in Maryland for the beautiful historic house and the perfect ceremony space on the lawn down in the grove. It also is private their guests could let loose and dance the afternoon away with the fun upbeat band, Soul Society. Guests arrives at 10:45am…close to the 11:00am ceremony time because of a slight snafu (the shuttle buses failed to pick up the guests so cabs were called). Never the less, the ceremony started a few minutes late but it was perfect weather and a beautiful ceremony.

Guest then lunched on salad, filet mignon from Festive Foods and cupcakes in lieu of a wedding cake. The favors were small boxes decorated in her colors (natural browns, greens and cream and pinks) with a small cake inside with the table number on it frosting. The table numbers were also edible …large cookies that didn;t last too long.

The bride and groom succeeded with the wedding of their dreams…beautiful, fun and filled with laughter and joy.
