Cherry Blossom Events, LLC was created by Alexandra Pare who specializes in event planning and coordination in Washington D.C., Northern Virginia & Maryland. With a team of four planners, Cherry Blossom Events is a diverse group of planners that has experience with galas, fundraisers, special events and weddings.  Understanding and identifying the needs of every client is what ensures that each event comes together as a beautiful experience. We pride ourselves on being professional, creative and fun to work with. We’re ready to get involved in any step of the planning process and will love every minute of it! Alexandra Pare, President

Alexandra Pare founded Cherry Blossom Weddings & Events in spring of 2006 after planning her Key West Wedding. Her professionalism, sense of style and personal commitment to each client is what makes Cherry Blossom Events so successful. Since opening the doors, she and her staff have worked in such prestigious venues such as the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hotel Monaco, The Washington Club, Hay Adams, Meridian House, Westin Grand Hotel, Cosmos Club, Peabody Library, River Farm and the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. She has been heavily involved in the 2010 and 2011 Nace (National Association of Catering Executives) Galas.

Alex graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Merchandise Management and began her career at W magazine in New York City.

Chantal Rotondo, Event Coordinator

Chantal Rotondo joins Cherry Blossom Events after working for years as an association meeting planner and marketer in DC, organizing everything from large annual conventions to silent auctions, golf tournaments, executive retreats, direct mail campaigns and more. Chantal graduated from The George Washington University with a Masters and Certification in Event Planning, and is eager to take her knowledge and experience to create unique, exquisite and thoroughly enjoyable events for everyone involved. Raised outside of Boston, Chantal has called DC home for over 10 years and continues to love exploring all that DC has to offer.

Elizabeth Leibundguth, Event Coordinator

Elizabeth began her career planning and producing high profile Congressional events for the Unites States Capitol Historical Society. Since then she has managed corporate and special events for a number of nonprofit organizations in the Washington DC area. Her events have ranged from small to elaborate and no matter the size Elizabeth’s creative, detail-orientated approach will ensure your day will be the most memorable of days. She loves working with the bride and groom to create the wedding of their dreams.She graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology & Biology. Elizabeth joined Cherry Blossom Wedding & Events after planning her own wedding in the Spring of 2008.

Alexandra Caggiano, Event Coordinator

Alex has been a Washingtonian for over a decade after graduating from American University with a Bachelors in Education. She has been with Cherry Blossom since 2008 and has worked at impressive venues across the city such as The Kennedy Center, The Newsuem and The Hay Adams.

An exceptionally organized and detail oriented planner; she is known for being outgoing, friendly and a natural networker. A bride herself, Alex revels in being a trustworthy companion to her client’s to ensure their day is as magical as possible.
